The installation is based on the words diligent and trustworthy . The thought was, what gives us a trustworthy feeling? We wanted to convey the feeling through a box that can protect our cherished things. A lamp glows green when the box is closed and our favorite item is safe. If the box is opened, another lamp lights up red and the bell rings. This is the first signal that remotely tells the owner that the box has been opened. The second signal is a continuous tone, which indicates that our item has been taken out of the box. The system carefully communicates each step through different signals. For the lamps we used a light sensor. The bell is triggered by solenoid and the sound frequency starts when the weight of the object is no longer on the button.
