Es ist ihnen aber oft noch möglich, Gesten in ihrer Phantomhand muskulär anzusteuern. Stellt man eine Schnittstelle zwischen Armmuskeln und Digitalem her, eröffnen sich neue Möglichkeiten. Shortcut ist ein Armband, das die Phantomhand ausliest, mit einem optischen Sensor verbindet und in eine berührungslose Computersteuerung übersetzt. Shortcut erleichtert den Wiedereinstieg in den Beruf und eine unbehinderte digitale Interaktion.

EN | Prosthesis wearers are restricted in the use of digital devices: mouse, keyboard and touch screens are not designed for them. However, it's often still possible to control muscular gestures in their phantom hand. If an interface between the digital world and arm muscles is made up, it opens up new possibilities. Shortcut is a bracelet that reads the phantom hand, combines these signals with an optical sensor and translates them into a wireless computer control. Shortcut facilitates re-entry into the profession and unrestricted digital interaction.
